Cricket for Beginners

Give your child the chance to learn one of the world’s most popular sports! In
partnership with Prime Sports Academy and Blackhawks Sports Club, this fun
and active program introduces participants to the fundamentals of cricket,
including batting, bowling, 昀椀elding, teamwork, and game strategy. Through
engaging drills, skill-building activities, and friendly games, students will build
con昀椀dence, stay active, and enjoy learning a sport played by millions around
the globe. No experience necessary—all skill levels are welcome!

This class is designed to provide students with QUALITY basketball instruction and
PURPOSEFUL practice focused on the FUNDAMENTAL skills needed to play. Students
will participate in both drill work and game play in a fun and positive atmosphere.
This is a great way to improve your child’s skills, or to introduce them to the game
of basketball. The class will be taught by trained educators who have played and
coached.

Program led by coach Gary Parker, a highly respected and elite basketball trainer
with over 20 years of training and high school coaching experience. Coach Parker
has trained over 4,000 players throughout the state of Michigan, including middle
school, high school, college players and pros. He has a wealth of knowledge in
developing players to take their game to the next level.
