Basic Hand Sewing Course

Learn the foundations of hand sewing through simple, fun, and con昀椀dence-building
techniques. Students begin with essential skills like threading a needle
and gradually master stitches and more. Each class focuses on hands-on
practice, helping learners build control, rhythm, and creativity. Every level ends
with a small project that students proudly complete with their own hands.
Number of Stitches taught: 3-4. Topics Include: Learn Introduction to sewing
tools, threading and knotting; Learn Running Stitch; Learn Back Stitch; Learn
Overcast Stitch/(Decorative); Mini Project. Max number of Attendees: 10
Material Fee: $25 (paid separately to instructor)

Learn the basics of sewing machine operation, including self-threading and
mastering the straight stitch. Gain quick-昀椀x techniques for emergency repairs and
troubleshooting. Build con昀椀dence with essential stitching skills for beginners.
Topics Include: Getting to Know Your Machine, Self-Threading, Setup &
Emergency Repair Hacks. Straight Stitch with Guiding Lines & Foot Pedal
Control, Stitch; Practice with Tension Adjustment, Pinning Fabric & Sewing
Pieces Together, Class 5: Sewing Coin purse. Max number of Attendees: 5
