Business Administration Management and Operations (BAMO) Program
The BAMO program provides students with practical skills and knowledge in business management, marketing strategies,
and operational processes. Completers of this program will have the opportunity to test and gain industry certification.
Program completers will have the opportunity to participate in the Business Internship (Work Based Learning) program or
our Career Capstone course.

AP Business with Personal Finance (105115/205115)

Full year 1.0 credit
This course satisfies 1 credit of the math-related graduation requirement. This is an introductory, yearlong course that
equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to build careers, manage money effectively, and gain an early
advantage in one of the most popular college majors in the United States. Developed in partnership with college faculty and
industry leaders, the course provides students with the opportunity to earn college credit and an employer-endorsed
credential. The course framework is organized into key business and personal finance disciplines, including: business
fundamentals, competition and innovation, marketing, personal saving and borrowing, business finance and accounting,
management and strategy, and personal goal setting, budgeting, and investing. Students engage with these topics through
real-world business applications, case studies, and project-based learning. Participation in this course also fulfills the
introductory requirement for students who wish to compete in DECA in subsequent years.
Entrepreneurship & Management (005231)

In this course, students learn the basics of planning and launching their own business. From profit to non-profit, this course
helps students develop the core skills needed to be successful. Students will study the characteristics of successful
entrepreneurs. Students will also learn about self-employment and basic economic concepts related to small businesses,
such as competition and production, how to come up with new business ideas, attract investors, market a business, and
manage expenses. Students will also be introduced to varying philosophies and how they interact with day-to-day
managerial tasks. With regards to legal aspects, students will discuss current human resource laws and regulations, ethical
behaviors in the workplace, study torts, civil law, negligence, contracts and fraud, and legal requirements for starting a
business.
Finance and Accounting Program
The finance program provides students with practical skills and knowledge in finance and managerial accounting. Completers
of this program will have the opportunity to test and gain industry certification as a program completer. Program completers
will have the opportunity to participate in the Business Internship (Work Based Learning) program or our Career Capstone
course.
